Employment Information
The following pre-employment requirements must be completed prior to Orientation and Move-In Day. You will receive your Offer Letter at the point of acceptance into the program; all other requirements will begin to be sent via email in February:
- Employment Paperwork - an email from Docusign will be sent containing the paperwork
- Employment Background Check - you will receive an email from Sterling Talent Solutions containing the background check This must be completed prior to May 15th
- Docusign Offer Letter - an email from Docusign will be sent containing the letter
- Internship Resident Forms - an email from Docusign will be sent containing the forms
- Payment Acknowledgement Form - an email from Docusign will be sent containing the form
- Payment submitted with HE&R - Interns who will be utilizing the company housing are required to submit a $180 housing fee. This payment includes a $160 refundable security deposit and a $20 non-refundable insurance fee.. Click here.

- CTC Residents - You will receive an email from CTC with a link to schedule your move-in time
- Non CTC Residents - You may arrive anytime between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, no appointment required
- You must bring 2 original forms of ID, which are required for employment (copies will not be accepted)

Housing Information

You will receive an email from CTC with important move-in information as well as mandatory documents to complete:
- The Clubhouse Rules documents must be completed and emailed to CampusHeights@CollegeTownCommunities or printed and turned in on move-in day
- The Roommate Survey must be completed, regardless if you and a friend (or two) might like to live together or if you will meet your new potential lifelong friends
- If you do not receive an email within 10-14 business days of receiving your offer letter contact Cali Castano, cali@collegetowncommunities.com
- Please note that it is up to you to supply the basic household items for your apartment. The FAQ listing reviews what is included in your lease.

- Hersheypark Department Training - Time and location information will be provided to you at check-in on Saturday, May 18
- 5:00 PM-7:00 PM - HE&R Intern Welcome Reception (Campus Heights, Casual Attire, Food Trucks)
Tuesday, May 21 and Wednesday, May 22:
- HPLDI Level 1 - Week 1 Classes (Your assigned class will be provided at check-in)
- HPLDI Level 2 - The first week of work at Hersheypark begins
Starting Thursday, May 23: HPLDI Level 1 - The first week of work at Hersheypark

Receive $250 Referral Bonus

Team members are eligible to earn a $250 Referral Bonus each time you refer a friend or family member to work as a Hersheypark Leadership Development Intern or any position at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts! Make sure your friend or family member checks ‘yes’ to being referred on the online application and completes the referral paperwork upon hire. Contact employment@hersheypa.com for eligibility criteria and requirements.
Recruited applicants must work over 10 hours in their position before the Referral Bonus will be paid to the referring team member. HE&R team members must complete the Referral Bonus request form to receive the $250 Referral Bonus. Referral Bonus payment(s) is subject to taxation and applicable withholdings.
Academics And Curriculum Information
Level 1
In collaboration with Shippensburg University, you will complete a 12-week course focused on leadership development and core competencies throughout the internship. More details coming in Spring 2024.
Level 2
As a supplement to your on-the-job supervisory experience as a Level 2 Intern, you will complete a professional development series including resume building, networking, and supervisory classes.
