The Hotel Hershey
Welcome to The Hotel Hershey Team! You will be working at an award-winning resort best known for its refined elegance, signature services, and abundant amentities. The Hotel Hershey is situated high atop the town of Hershey and has 276 guest rooms, including 48 cottages, as well as 25,000 square feet of meeting and function space. The 1930's hotel is a recipient of both the Forbes Four-Star Award and the AAA Four-Diamond Award. Please review and complete the steps below to prepare for your first day.
Must Complete Before Your Hiring Appointment
- Employment Paperwork: You will receive an email from Hershey Entertainment & Resorts with the subject "Action Required: Employment Paperwork for Hershey Entertainment & Resorts." To complete the paperwork, please click the link in the email and log in utilizing the username and password created at time of application.
Employees age 14-17 will receive an email from Docusign that includes important employment paperwork that must be completed.
- Background Check (18+): An email from Sterling will be sent to your email with instructions for completing your required background check.
- Drug Test: Part-time positions identified as safety-sensitive will require a drug test at the time of your Hiring Appointment.
All of your pre-employment requirements must be completed prior to attending your Hiring Appointment at the HR Support Center. If these requirements are not completed, you may be rescheduled. If you are unsure of your requirements, please reach out to employment@hersheypa.com for more details. Once your hiring appointment is complete, you will be scheduled for Company Orientation at The Hotel Hershey
What To Bring To Your Hiring Appointment

- Most common forms of ID are Driver’s License/Government Issued Identification Card or Work Permit AND Social Security Card OR Birth Certificate OR U.S. Passport
- All employees under 18 must bring an original work permit issued by a PA school district.

Schedule Your Hiring Appointment
At your hiring appointment, a Human Resources Team Member will process all documents, take your photo, and issue your Employee ID card.
All of your pre-employment requirements are to be completed prior to attending your Hiring Appointment. If steps are not completed, you will not be able to attend your appointment. You will receive an email from employment@Hersheypa.com with more details and necessary requirements.
After Your Hiring Appointment
At the end of your HR Hiring Appointment, you will receive a flyer with next steps and department contacts. At this time you will be scheduled for The Hotel Hershey Orientation. At this required training, you will receive an introduction to our company, core purpose, and information about our policies and procedures. You will also learn more about The Hotel Hershey, including a property tour. If you have any questions regarding your first day of work, please call your department contact.

The Hotel Hershey Property Orientation: At this required training, you will receive additional information about Hershey Lodge, including a property tour.
